This is the actual, declassified story: the CIA spent two decades and millions of dollars turning American citizens into non-consenting lab rats—dosing them with weaponized LSD in fake brothels, driving a scientist out a 13th-story window, and running torture programs that make waterboarding look gentle.
1. Operation Midnight Climax – The CIA Ran LSD Brothels
The Agency rented luxury apartments in San Francisco and New York, installed two-way mirrors, hired prostitutes on the payroll, and paid them to bring johns back from bars. Once inside, the men’s drinks were spiked with massive doses of LSD while CIA agents watched, drank martinis, and took notes.

2. Frank Olson – The Scientist the CIA Dosed, Then Defenestrated
November 1953: Army bioweapons expert Dr. Frank Olson is secretly dosed with LSD in his after-dinner drink by MK-ULTRA chief Sidney Gottlieb. Ten days of hell later, he “falls” from the 13th floor of a New York hotel. The CIA called it suicide. His family was lied to for 22 years.

3. Prisons & Addiction Centers Turned Into LSD Torture Labs
Federal prisons and the “Narco Farm” in Lexington, Kentucky were paid millions to dose inmates—mostly poor and Black—with LSD for months on end. Whitey Bulger, Ted Kaczynski (Unabomber), and Charles Manson all passed through CIA-funded LSD programs.

4. The Montreal Experiments – Erasing People’s Minds
Dr. Ewen Cameron at McGill University (funded $69,000 by the CIA) put patients into drug-induced comas, hit them with electroshock 75× normal voltage, and played taped messages 500,000 times to “reprogram” them. Many never recovered their memories or personalities.
